ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held between the Management of Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Council and Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islamabad at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Saadullah Tashmatov, Charge d’ Affaires, Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mr. Jasur Saidahmedov, Second Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan were also present. It was decided that Uzbekistan – Pakistan Business Council (UPBC) will continue to actively work for the enhancement of business cooperation amongst Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Furthermore, Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Council will also organize a business trip comprising of prominent business personnel from Pakistan to Uzbekistan to bridge the gap between business circles of both the countries
During the meeting, the appointment letter for Director Business Development and Logistics of UPBCwas given to Major Gohar Zia (Retd) by the Uzbek envoy.
