Mehwish Hayat is the most vocal actress when it comes to the social issues , human rights and animal rights. She has recently demanded the closure of all zoos in Pakistan.
Well, there is a reason behind it. Actress Mehwish Hayat, like every Pakistani, looks sad at the relocation of the world’s most lonely elephant to Cambodia, which was also expressed by the actress on social networking site Twitter.
Actress Mehwish Hayat tweeted yesterday that in a country where we all are still fighting for human rights, animal rights are way too far, to be fulfilled.
Mehwish Hayat further wrote in a questioning tone that why do we take action only after the involvement of foreign personalities?
She further said that it’s a shame, we wake up too late. She further demanded from the higher authorities that all animals are born free, now the authorities should close the zoos. Mehwish Hayat is of the view that the animals at zoos are not very well kept, this is the reason why they should be free otherwise their survival could be hard. Well , lets see how the authorities respond to the actress’s demand.
