Mohammad Sajjad wins 12th Ranking Snooker Championship

Karachi: Former world champion and former Asian champion Mohammad Sajjad has defeated Haris Tahir, winning the 12th Ranking Snooker Championship on Tuesday.
Sajjad defeated Haris in the best of fifteen frames match by 8 frames to 6. The match was decided in the fourteenth frame when the score was 129 with 77 points. It is Sajjad’s third Ranking Snooker Championship.
On winning the championship, cueist Sajjad received a trophy and prize money of Rs. 100,000 while runner-up Haris Tahir, who qualified for the final of any tournament for the first time, received a trophy and prize money of Rs. 40,000.
