Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad on Wednesday.
Naqvi, who was visiting Mashhad to pay homage at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), was received by Araghchi at the airport.
Araghchi arrived at Mashhad’s Shahid Hasheminejad Airport on Wednesday afternoon, where he was received by Khorasan Razavi Governor Gholam-Hossein Mozaffari and Iran’s Foreign Ministry representative in northeastern Iran, Gholam-Abbas Arbab-Khales.
Both the Pakistani and Iranian officials discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations.
