Mohsin Naqvi participates in cultural event at QAU

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi on Monday said that the youth are the pride and future of Pakistan, and that the strength of country’s cultural unity lies in it.
He made these remarks while visiting Quaid-e-Azam University, where he was warmly received by Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, faculty members, and students.
The Interior Minister attended a traditional dance event organized by the Pashtun Council, where he joined the Pashtun students in performing the traditional Attan dance. The students spent some time with the minister, engaging in a friendly and joyful interaction.
While appreciating the beautiful display of Pashtun culture, Mohsin Naqvi held an informal conversation with the youth, emphasizing the importance of education and positive activities. He highlighted that Pashtun culture holds a unique place in the world and expressed his delight at attending the students’ event.
He expressed that such gatherings bring people closer together and promote love and brotherhood.
The Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University, Deputy Commissioner, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Islamabad were also present on the occasion.
