More rainfall predicted

ISLAMABAD: The Met Office has forecast more rainfall this week as a weather system expected to enter the country from today.
Monsoon currents are likely to approach the eastern Sindh from 19th July evening and gradually spread over entire Sindh.
Under its influence, dust-thunderstorm and rain with isolated heavy falls likely in Tharparker, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Qambar Shahdadkot, Dadu & Jamshoro districts from 19th July evening to 22nd or 23rd July with occasional gaps. Dust-thunderstorm/rain with isolated heavy falls in Karachi division and Kashmore, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroz, Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Thatta and Sujawal districts during 20th to 22nd July with occasional gaps.
Rainfall is expected in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Hazara division from July 18 to 23, according to the Met Office.
Rainfall with wind and thunderstorm is expected in Mardan, Chitral, Swabi, Peshawar, Buner and Shangla districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan’s Zhob, Barkhan and Lasbela districts and South Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan from July 19 to 21.
