MOU signed for provision of better health facilities to cops

ISLAMABAD: On the special directions of IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, efforts are ongoing to provide the best facilities and discounted medical services to Islamabad Police officers and their families.
In this regard, an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Islamabad Police and the private organization Chughtai Lab. On behalf of Islamabad Police the agreement was signed by SP Headquarters Qaiser Niaz Gilani and Chughtai Lab Chief Commercial Officer Javeria Khan.


Under the agreement, Islamabad Police officers and their families will receive a 25% discount on lab tests, 20% on consultations with specialist doctors, 15% on radiological tests, 10% on home services, and 8% on medicines.
Moreover, Islamabad Police officers and their families can avail of this facility at all laboratories of the organization across Pakistan. To avail the discounted tests, all officers will use the blue card provided by the private organization.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that, the best medical facilities are being provided to the serving officers of Islamabad Police, as well as the families of martyrs and officers who passed away during service.
Such measures are boosting the morale of police officers and helping to provide their families with the best medical facilities.
Further steps are being taken for the welfare of police officers.
He added that police officers often suffer from various illnesses due to law and order duties and other tough responsibilities, and they faced difficulties in getting the best medical treatment.
Through such medical welfare initiatives, police officers and their families will have access to health-related facilities at their homes.
