LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former member of National Assembly Munaza Hassan quits her party on Sunday.
In her statement, she strongly condemned the May 9 incidents and damage to the military and government installations. We should respect all institutions and what had happened was wrong and it should be happened, she added.
Hassan said as a patriotic Pakistani I am proud of our army. She said any conduct that would harm the country and institutions was regretted.
Being a Pakistani, she said the survival of the state was our duty.
“I declare to separate myself from Tehreek-e-Insaaf,” she announced.
She was considered to be the close associate of the PTI chief and founding member of the party. –Agencies
