ISLAMABAD: PS Bani Gala’s Homicide Wing team have arrested an accused involved in murder of a woman.
According to details, on 07.03.2023 Bani gala police station received an application from a citizen namely Naeem Ahmed who stated that his elder sister namely Farzana was tortured by her brother in law namey Waris S/O Muhammed Nawas who was later stabbed to death with an Axe.
Upon receiving the application, the Bani Gala Police registered a case FIR no. 79 under section 302/109/ 34 PPC, Following this incident, a special investigation team was constituted. The police team utilized all available resources and used technical and scientific methods and arrested the main accused namely Waris. Police team also recovered murder tool from his possession. While further investigation is underway.
Bike lifter held, two
stolen bikes recovered
ISLAMABAD: PS Golrateam apprehended a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents and recovered two stolen motorbikes from his possession. Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had started a crackdown against criminal elements involved in car and bike lifting incidents in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens. Following these directives, the Golra police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a bike lifter gang involved in numerous bike lifting incidents.
Police team also recovered two stolen motorbikes from his possession. The accused was identified as Muhammad Zubair. Case has already registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation the accused confessed to being involved in numerous bike lifting incidents in Golra police station jurisdiction.
11 including three gamblers arrested, drugs & arms recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police apprehended eleven outlaws including three gamblers from different areas of the city and recovered cash, mobile phone, gambling tools, drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession. Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directives, the Bani Gala police team arrested an accused namely Dawood Khan and recovered 1125 gram hashish from his possession. Golra police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Talah Khan and recovered one 9mm pistol from his possession, while police team also arrested an accused namely Usman Maskeen involved in illegally selling petrol. Similarly, the Khanna police team arrested an accused namely Asim Hussain and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession. Noon police team arrested three gamblers namely Zubair, Sajjad Khan and Asad Mehmood and recovered cash, mobile phone and gambling tools from their possession. During the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders, the Islamabad capital police teams arrested four absconders and proclaimed offenders from different areas of the city.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
