Geo television network’s drama ‘Hadsa’, is making headlines because of its controversial storyline. The drama makers are accused of hurting the sentiments of unfortunate rape victims. The leading role is being played by Hadiqa Kiani, the drama is penned by Zanjabeel Asim Shah. “Hadsa” is produced by Shazia Wajahat and Wajahat Rauf.
Hadsa makers are facing heavy criticism for portraying real story of a rape survivor. The criticism on the drama started coming after the real-life victim of the motorway incident bravely voiced her grief and anxiousness with ace journalist Fariha Idrees. The brave victim was depressed after seeing the bold representation of her story, the brave lady said that it was a traumatic experience to glimpse such a thing on TV and relive those horrific moments. The social media users, viewers and activists are condemning the drama makers.
