ISLAMABADL Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended Pakistan’s security forces for carrying out successful intelligence-based operations against militants identified by the government as Fitna al-Hindustan in the Balochistan districts of Washuk and Mastung, where 12 militants were killed.
Praising the professionalism, courage and operational capabilities of the security forces, the interior minister said the country’s brave personnel acted swiftly to eliminate the militants and thwart their “nefarious designs.” He described the operations as another demonstration of the forces’ unwavering commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s peace and security.
Naqvi paid tribute to the security personnel for their decisive action, saying the successful operations reflected the effectiveness of intelligence-led counterterrorism efforts. He noted that the nation deeply appreciates the security forces’ continued successes in restoring and maintaining peace in Balochistan.
Reaffirming national resolve against terrorism, the interior minister said the people of Pakistan remain united in the fight against militancy and stand firmly alongside the country’s security forces in their efforts to eliminate terrorist threats and ensure lasting peace. –Agencies
