RAWALPINDI: Nation paid homage to Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his 22nd martyrdom anniversary which being observed on Tuesday.
Lalak Jan laid his life defending motherland against hy odds in most challenging battlefield environment during Kargil conflict on 7 July 99, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement, adding, Lalak Jan’s fortitude & selflessness will keep inspiring the indomitable defenders of Pak 4 times 2 come.
Last year on the same day General Qamar Javed Bajwa in his message said “Glowing tribute to the indomitable courage, leadership, and exemplary leadership of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed and Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed who wrote history with their blood against all odds.”–ISPR
