National squad to leave after 3rd COVID test

LAHORE: The national squad will leave for England only after clearing the third COVID-19 testing which was done here at a local hotel on Wednesday.
According to the details, the England-bound T20I and ODI squads were tested for COVID-19 for the third time. The complete squad is in a bio-secure bubble and will leave for England early on June 25th.
The remaining selected players of the national team from Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans will join the team after tomorrow’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 final. They will be transferred from one bio-secure bubble in Abu Dhabi to another.
The national squad will train in Derby after three days of room isolation. Green Shirts will play the first ODI against England on July 8 in Cardiff.
