National T20 Cup semis to go Pink as PCB decides to raise Breast Cancer awareness

Bureau Report

Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to raise awareness for breast cancer during the National T20 Cup semifinals on October 17. The four semi-finalist teams, players, staff and commentators will don pink ribbons on their shirts to raise awareness. The match officials will wear pink polos and the stumps will be painted pink.
PCB has once again joined hands with Pink Ribbon Pakistan as October is marked across the globe as Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help increase attention and support for the awareness.
PCB in the past has also observed Pink-Day during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches and PAKvSL third T20I in Lahore last year in October. It must be noted that three teams Northern, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have qualified for the semifinals whereas the last team is yet to be decided.
The final two group matches will be played today. Northern will face KP in the first match while Southern Punjab will take on Balochistan.
