Karachi: The 15th National Women’s Softball Championship, which was scheduled to be played next month, has been postponed following coronavirus outbreak.
The Secretary-General of Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) Asif Azeem said that the preparations were in full swing for the event, but they respect the current situation. He added the new schedule of the championship will be revealed once the situation gets better.
On the other hand, the 1st Asia Baseball 5 Tournament, which was to be held in Malaysia under the banner of World Baseball Softball Confederation next month, has also been rescheduled and now will take place from June 25 to 28 at Kuala Lumpur. – Agencies
