NDMA’s relief package for Pakistani students reach Wuhan

BEIJING: National Disaster Management of Pakistan has sent ready to eat food for stranded students in Wuhan, city of Hubei province in China. Hubei was the epicenter of Coronavirus epidemic for the last two months, but as of Friday the city has reported zero infection cases for second consecutive day.

Some 800 students were stranded in Wuhan and A special Task Force (STF) was formed by Pakistan’s Ambassador in China, to help and coordinate with China-based Pakistani students and Pakistani community across China has emerged as a role model amongst the diplomatic community of Beijing and has earned an unprecedented praise and appreciation, not only from Pakistanis in China but also by foreign diplomats and global analysts.
The stationed Special Task Team constantly supported the Pakistani community and students. The embassy officials were relentlessly facilitating the Pakistani students and community. With the support from Pakistan embassy and Chinese government all the stranded students were kept safe and well looked after during the lockdown of the city. The recent relief arrived in C130 aircraft from Islamabad on Friday. The relief was received by the officials of Pakistani embassy stationed in Wuhan. The food packages will be distributed among the Pakistani students and business community. Earlier, the embassy officials have also distributed relief packages among students and business community sent from the embassy. The stationed officials expressed satisfaction on the relief assistance.
