ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Police has successfully activated the new Digital License Management System (DLMS). Through this system, one court absconder and one wanted criminal were apprehended, while payments for over 1,000 traffic challans were collected from 634 violators.
In cases of non-payment, violators will not only face legal consequences but will also be deprived of facilities at the Police Khidmat Markaz, including driving license services.
According to details, following the directives of the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has fully activated the newly established Digital License Management System (DLMS).
This system integrates data on wanted criminals and traffic violators, which aims to ensure the arrest of wanted criminals and secure definite payments for traffic challans.
As a result of this new system, 634 violators visited traffic offices and paid their 1,889 challans. Simultaneously, one court absconder and one wanted criminal were arrested, initiating legal proceedings.

The recently formed Digital License Management System by the Islamabad Capital Police has been fully operational since its inception. Violators failing to pay their challans will be deprived of all facilities provided by the police.
Furthermore, the vehicles of these violators are being traced through the new Brief Cam alerts and Safe City cameras, fulfilling legal requirements. Citizens can check their challans by entering their vehicle registration number on the Islamabad Capital Police official website, www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk, or the provided link: https://ict.islamabadpolice.gov.pk:8081/veri/verify_e_challan.php.
Owners of fined vehicles can pay their challans through Jazz cash, mobile apps, or JS Bank wallets. Failure to settle challans will result in strict legal action against violators.
