ISLAMABAD: Under the leadership of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues to adopt modern policing practices and take practical measures to provide effective and timely police services to citizens. As part of these efforts, a large number of modern electric vehicles have been added to the Islamabad Police fleet to further strengthen patrolling, security and field operations across the capital.
A spectacular flag march featuring the newly inducted electric vehicles was held in Islamabad. The march started from D-Chowk, passed through major roads of the city and concluded at D-Chowk.
The induction of modern electric vehicles will make police patrolling across the city more effective, expand the patrolling network and strengthen surveillance of important and sensitive locations as well as major roads, helping prevent crime and enhance the safety of citizens.
The new vehicles will also help improve police response time and enable field operations to be conducted in a faster and more effective manner. The initiative marks an important step towards modern, technology-driven and environment-friendly policing in Islamabad. IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that the protection of the lives and property of citizens remains the foremost priority of Islamabad Police. Modern technology and resources are being effectively utilized to further strengthen the field force, patrolling, security and response systems, ensuring a safer environment and improved police services for citizens.
