ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has taken effective steps to ensure foolproof security of churches across the federal capital.
In this regard, SSP Operations Capt. (retd) Ali Raza Qazi, while remaining active in the field, visited various churches across the district. During the visits, he met with the officers and personnel on duty, assessed their performance, and issued directives to further improve the security arrangements.

He inspected the deployment at the entry and exit points, parking areas, and surrounding vicinities of the churches, as well as the overall security plan.
While meeting with the church administration, SSP Operations said that Islamabad Police is actively engaged, without any discrimination, in ensuring the protection of life and property of citizens belonging to all religions.
He urged the public to fully cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious person or activity to the concerned police station or via the police helpline Pucar-15. He further stated that mutual cooperation between police and the public is the foundation for maintaining peace and security.
Islamabad Police is performing its duties with a spirit of national commitment, dedication, and high professional standards to maintain a safe and peaceful environment in the federal capital.
In conclusion, he reaffirmed that the top priority of Islamabad Police is the protection of citizens’ lives and property, and the enforcement of the rule of law.
