ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the process of departmental promotions within Islamabad Police is ongoing.
In this regard, a dignified ceremony was held at Safe City Islamabad to formally rank the newly promoted officers. DG Safe City/DIG Headquarters Muhammad Haroon Joya, attended the event as the chief guest. Other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, DG Safe City formally decorated the promoted officers with their new ranks, congratulated them, and expressed his best wishes for their future.
While addressing the promoted officials, DG Safe City welcomed the officers present at the ceremony, congratulated them, and said, i salute your dedication, bravery, and courage. I pray that you do justice to the ranks and positions you have been granted.
May your children see you as their hero, and may your parents feel proud of you. We will do everything we can to bring smiles to your and your families’ faces. In return, you must renew your commitment to eradicate crime, ensure swift justice for citizens, and protect their lives and property.
He further stated, the only path to earning Almighty Allah’s pleasure is by creating ease for his people. By the grace of Almighty Allah, this department belongs to the martyrs and the living heroes. We neither fear becoming a hero nor a martyr, we only come to write stories of courage.
In conclusion, he said always remember that promotion is a trust granted by Almighty Allah.
Whatever responsibilities are assigned to you within the department must be fulfilled at all costs. I hope that you will fulfill your new duties with excellence and full dedication.
