NHA holds tree plantation ceremony marking Pak-China diplomatic ties

ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) on Wednesday organized a commemorative tree plantation ceremony at its headquarters to mark a significant milestone in international diplomacy and environmental conservation.
Secretary Communications Ali Sher Mehsud and Chairman NHA Captain (Retd.) Asadullah Khan jointly planted a sapling to honor the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China, said a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, the participants highlighted the importance of environmental conservation initiatives for promoting the vision of a “Green Pakistan” while reaffirming the enduring “all-weather” strategic partnership between the two countries.
During the ceremony, participants offered prayers for the prosperity of both countries and the success of ongoing collaborative infrastructure projects.
