No Coach in this world can take Dean Jones’s place: Wasim Akram

Karachi: Former pacer Wasim Akram said he will be the head coach of Karachi Kings in remaining PSL 5 matches but can’t take the place of late Dean Jones.
Speaking to journalists via teleconference, Akram said Jones will be missed in PSL 5’s remaining matches which are scheduled to be played from November 14 to 17.
“I am not taking Jones’s place as Kings’ head coach. I mean he will be missed throughout and we will leave his seat in our dressing room with his name,” said the legendary speedster.
Adding on, Akram said Jones was the great ambassador of Pakistan across the world. “He was a great buddy of mine. I know how he advocated for Pakistan across the world. He talked about Pakistan’s cricket, food, talent and hospitality everywhere in the world,” he said.
“I believe he was a great human being and as a coach he was brilliant. No coach in this world can take his place ever,” he concluded.
It must be noted here that former Australian cricketer Jones passed away due to cardiac arrest in India where he was busy in IPL coverage for a local channel.
