Lahore: Pakistan men’s team head coach-cum-chief selector, Misbah-ul-Haq, has hinted that there might not be so many changes in the Pakistan squad against Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe is scheduled to tour Pakistan in October-November for three ODIs and as many T20Is.
“Team is already composed of young players. We might change a thing or two to make the team stronger,” he said while interacting with the press in Lahore on Saturday.
The ODI series will be part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, Misbah thinks that the Zimbabwe series is important in terms of securing points.
“We should keep in mind that the points earned from the ODI series would count towards World Cup qualification,” he added.
It must be noted that the ODIs will be played in Multan on October 30, November 1, and 3 while Rawalpindi will host T20Is on November 7, 8, and 10. Matches will be played behind closed doors.
