LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has asserted that there would be no tolerance of any gang and no-go area across Punjab.
Punjab CM met police officers across the province and fixed ‘performance indicators’ to monitor the performance of police officers.
She has taken effective measures to improve the police performance and control crime across the province.
Police personnel and officers will be granted marks for performing excellent duties in sorting out matters related to public complaints, FIRs, search operations and no-go areas.
Police officers will get additional marks for innovative and exemplary measures. Police officers who will not perform duties, their marks will be deducted.
Punjab CM asserted on this occasion that there would be no tolerance for any black sheep, gangs and no-go areas in Punjab.
She stressed the need for a strong law enforcement system so criminals must not dare to commit crime and be accountable to penalties.
She insisted that political interference create problems and vowed to end political inference in the police department.
