ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Anti Robbery and Dacoity Unit (ARDU) police team arrested two wanted members of a notorious criminal gang involved in numerous snatching activities and recovered mobile phones, motorbike and weapon used in crime from their possession.
Following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the ARDU police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a notorious snatcher gang involved in numerous criminal activities in the jurisdiction of Industrial Area police station.
The accused were identified as Atiq Ur Rehman and Yasir Zaman. Police team also recovered snatched mobile phones, motorbike and weapons used in crime from their possession. Cases were registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
