Karachi: An in-form New Zealand ‘A’ side has been named for the four-day match against the Pakistan Shaheens in Whangarei, starting tomorrow.
Michael Bracewell, who notched a century against West Indies A in Nelson, will lead the A-side. The 21-year-old Rachin Ravindra and in-form Canterbury batsman, Ken McClure are also part of the team.
Kiwis’ fast bowler Matt Henry will return to play his first red-ball cricket after recovering from thumb injury. The team will be coached by Stephen Cunis and Brendon Donkers.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Shaheens are also packed with Test stars like Azhar Ali, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Abbas and others. They took part in their last practice and training session ahead of the four-day match.
