ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior of Pakistan, Sheikh Rasheed said they provided security to the New Zealand team more than their country’s overall forces.
In a press conference on Monday, the federal minister said they ensured the safe stay of the New Zealand team in Rawalpindi. “We gave more security to New Zealand than their country’s overall forces,” the interior minister was quoted saying.
Rasheed once again assured that they are ready to host the England team despite the New Zealand team left Pakistan without providing any authentic proof of security threats. “We are prepared to host England here. We will welcome if they come here to play cricket,” he ensured.
