KARACHI: A pedestrian died while another person was critically injured when an over speeding water tanker hit two vehicles and rammed into a shop here on Tuesday. Driver of water tanker was arrested.
Police said that a reckless driven water tanker got out of control of driver, hit two vehicles and rammed into a shop at University Road near Safoora Chowangi, Karachi.
A pedestrian identified Noushad died in the accident while driver of school van Zeeshan was critically injured.
The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police arrested water tanker driver Noor Akbar and after registering a case against him have started investigation.
