ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified search and combing operations in various areas of the federal capital to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements.
The grand search and combing operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. During these search operations, a total of 651 individuals, 219 households, 83 shops, 37 hotels, 287 motorcycles and 122 vehicles were thoroughly checked. Additionally, 15 suspicious individuals and 23 motorcycles were also shifted to the police station for further verification.
