PAF jet fighters carry out exercise on motorway

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet fighters on Wednesday carried out an exercise including take-offs and landings on Islamabad-Lahore Motorway (M-2), a statement issued by the Air Force said. The PAF’s F-16 and JF-17 Thunder jets participated in the drill at the motorway.
The air route has been shut down for all kinds of air traffic for the PAF exercise. In the exercise at the M-2, F-16 fighter-bomber aircraft and multi-role combat aircraft JF-17 Thunder, developed jointly by the Pakistan
Aeronautical Complex and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation of China, participated.
