Pak students’ achievements in UK lauded

ISLAMABAD: Speakers at a seminar on Thursday lauded the significant achievements of Pakistani students studying in British universities. They recognized their contributions for presenting positive image of the homeland.
Speakers, including Eng. Qamar-ul-Islam, MPA Riffat Abbasi, and Barrister Shoaib Razaq, praised the academic excellence and determination of Pakistani students in the United Kingdom.
With 25,000 students currently pursuing higher education in British universities, their achievements were seen as a testament to Pakistan’s potential.
Wajid Ali, representing the University of Gloucestershire, highlighted the university’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
Hanan Ali Abbasi, President of the National Youth Assembly, emphasized the importance of supporting and celebrating the success stories of Pakistani students abroad.
The speakers unanimously agreed that these students are not only gaining education but also acting as cultural ambassadors, strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UK.
