HANGZHOU: Muhammad Atif, Consul of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai, led a trade delegation to the 5th International Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation, Refrigeration and Cold Chain Expo (RACC2025) held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China from October 23 to 25.
The delegation comprising four Pakistani traders sought to explore the latest industrial technologies and source air conditioning systems, heating products, accessories and compressors from international suppliers.
Consul Atif joined other dignitaries in inaugurating the opening ceremony by participating in the traditional button-pushing ceremony, symbolizing the start of the international event.
The consul pointed out that the active participation of the Pakistani consular delegation demonstrated Pakistan’s commitment to enhance economic and trade relations with China.
The Pakistani delegation’s focused engagement in identifying advanced cooling technologies and establishing supply chain partnerships with Chinese manufacturers aligned with Pakistan’s infrastructure development needs in climate control and cold chain logistics. The cooperation forms part of a broader effort to enhance industrial collaboration under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.
The exhibition presented a comprehensive picture of the green and intelligent transformation of the refrigeration and cold chain industry, showcasing global advancements in sustainability and smart technology. The event featured 607 exhibiting enterprises from the United States, Japan, Dubai and other countries and regions, covering 50,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The expo attracted 41,012 visitors, including 2,507 international buyers from 106 countries and regions across five continents. –Agencies
