Pakistan intelligence chief discusses regional security with Bahrain crown prince

Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has held talks with Pakistan’s intelligence chief and national security adviser, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Asim Malik, in Manama, with the two sides discussing regional security and ways to deepen cooperation.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the latest regional and international developments and efforts to strengthen coordination between the two countries.

The crown prince underscored Pakistan’s “critical role”, alongside its allies, in reinforcing regional security and stability.

The talks come amid heightened tensions across the region, with both sides also discussing ways to enhance bilateral cooperation. –Agencies
