Pakistani, Kyrgyz Varsities sign MoU

Bishkek: A delegation from Pakistan arrived in Bishkek on Dec. 12 at Medical Academy to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Associations of Higher Medical Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and all private universities in Pakistan, which includes 82 universities, local media reported on Monday.
The document, which was signed by rector of Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA), professor Indira Kudaibergenova and vice rector of the University of South Asia, Mr. Mian Imran Massoud, provides for the support of academic mobility programs, cooperation in the development of educational and scientific programs and other activities agreed by both parties.
KSMA familiarized representatives from Pakistan with the directions of the university’s work and a presentation film about its activities.
Duration of MBBS/MD/General Medicine/BDS Course is 05 years Mostly & in very few universities it is 06 years in Kyrgyzstan for international students .
The Syllabus in Kyrgyzstan medical universities are same as according to the Pakistani & Indian medical colleges. Universities are WHO Recognized and students graduated from Kyrgyzstan with MBBS/MD/BDS Degree are qualified for ECFMG & other international certifications.
As an essential part of Medical education , universities are providing good practical facilities so that they can test their knowledge about medicine & body complex issues.
After the 6th Semester of Medical study in Kyrgyzstan , students goes to the hospitals and practice under the supervision of senior doctors. Most of the Kyrgistan universities arranged foreign teachers from Pakistan, Nepal to deliver the medical lectures in English. – Agencies
