BEIJING: A delegation of five Pakistani orthopedic doctors, including Dr. Asad Aziz and Dr. Suhail Niazi, has commenced a six-week training program at the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China.
This program, part of the MoU under China-Pakistan Health Corridor (CPHC), aims to enhance medical collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two countries.
Supported by Chinese Orthopaedic Association, the program involves comprehensive training activities.
The Pakistani doctors will participate in patient rounds, surgeries, case discussions, and academic lectures alongside experts from the hospital. This collaboration is expected to foster closer ties and improve the quality of medical services available to both Chinese and Pakistani communities, China Economic Net (CEN) reported.
Prof. Zhang Yingze, official of Chinese Orthopaedic Association and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, emphasized the historical friendship and close medical relations between China and Pakistan.
He expressed hope that the visiting doctors would gain new knowledge and skills, benefiting the Pakistani populace and further strengthening China-Pakistan relations.
