Pakistan’s envoy to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has said that the atmosphere in which talks take place is critical, and that the terms of the ceasefire must be implemented.
Heading into the talks, both the US and Iran have expressed differing interpretations of the initial agreement that halted the fighting, particularly regarding Lebanon, where Israel and Hezbollah remain in a state of war.
Talking to the media, Sheikh said these disagreements could cast a “negative shadow” on the negotiation process. –Agencies
