ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a bid to smuggle two kilogram heroin to Qatar and arrested a passenger at New Islamabad Airport on Friday.
ANF sources said that during search of baggage of a passenger Asjid Ali, hailing from Gujrat and leaving for Qatar through PIA flight at New Islamabad International Airport, two kilogram high quality heroin tactfully concealed in trolley bag was recovered.
The recovered heroin worth millions of rupees in international market was confiscated by the ANF along with his luggage and Asjid Ali was arrested by
the ANF who was being investigated.
