PCB allows families of players to accompany them on overseas tours

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to allow members of the national cricket team to accompany their families at home and overseas tours.
According to sources, PCB will hold discussions with other host boards in this regard while families will be allowed to stay with them in the home series.
The decision came after the cricketers went through a hard time in isolation during the ongoing New Zealand tour. PCB aims to create convenience and easiness for the players in these difficult situations. Taking care of the personal lives of the players with cricket is the top priority of the PCB. A message has also been conveyed to the players through team management.
Squad members will be able to keep families together from the home series against South Africa, starting from January 26. The families will have to follow all the COVID-19 protocols while being in the bio-secure bubble.
It must be noted that the Pakistan team is scheduled to tour South Africa, Zimbabwe, England and the West Indies next year, while they are also scheduled to play several home series.
