Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (CEO) Wasim Khan has firmly expressed disappointment with New Zealand Cricket (NZC) officials after the Pakistan squad was disallowed to train in managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ). 44 members out of 54 have reportedly tested negative for the fourth time. CEO also showed concern as the Pakistan squad Day 9 swab testing results have not been made public yet as the team underwent testing yesterday.“I have contacted NZC and the New Zealand Ministry of Health. I have expressed frustration over not being allowed to train,” Wasim said. “Further it is disappointing that NZ health ministry has not made public the results of team’s fourth COVID-19 test,” he added. The health ministry has instructed the national squad to complete its 14-day isolation period at the hotel and they will not train during isolation which will end of December 8. – PNP
