Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is looking forward to continuing with Younis Khan as national team’s batting coach.
According to the sources, PCB’s chief executive Wasim Khan will meet the former cricketer next week to discuss his role in the board for future. He is also likely to coach age group teams timely alongside national team’s coaching.
Sources further said that all stakeholders are on one page for the permanent appointment of Khan, however, the things are yet to be finalised.
It must be noted here that 10,000+ Test runs getter Khan was appointed national team’s batting coach for recently concluded England tour. Pakistan lost the Test series 1-0 whereas leveled T20I series 1-1.
