Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has paid salaries to domestic players who hold provincial contracts, media reported on Monday.
According to sources, the salaries have been paid until the month of February. Domestic cricketers’ daily allowances and match fees are also being paid.
PCB has also clarified that the salaries and allowances of March and April will also be paid on time. Apart from cricketers who have not signed the provincial contracts, all players are being paid by the PCB.
It must be noted that PCB postponed the Pakistan Cup One-day tournament which was scheduled to start from March 25.
