KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) arranged a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine for its women cricketers.
In a statement released by the cricket board, the decision was taken for the health safety of the players. In the first phase, the vaccine was arranged for men cricketers.
“In consultation with the NCOC, we have started the second phase of COVID-19 vaccines and offered vaccines to our women cricketers,” PCB stated.
“PCB was the first cricket body across the globe which vaccinated its players for their safety from the widely-spread virus,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, PCB shared that vaccination for people involved in the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6 will start tomorrow.
