PFA destroys 2,700 litres adulterated Milk

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Monday destroyed 2,700 litres of adulterated milk near motorway toll plaza in Rawalpindi.
According to official sources, the PFA foiled an attempt to supply a huge quantity of adulterated milk to Rawalpindi.
The PFA officials inspected 10 vehicles carrying 29,545 liters of milk, and they destroyed 2,700 liters of unhealthy and adulterated milk.
The milk was examined at a modern mobile laboratory by the PFA officials. Two truck drivers were also imposed a heavy fine.

Speaking on the occasion, the PFA officials maintained that a stern action
was underway against those involved in adulterating milk with water or other
chemicals.
