Phase 2 approved for RIPC Housing Scheme

RAWALPINDI: Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been approved Phase Two for Rawalpindi Press Club Housing Scheme (NPC).
According to the details, a meeting of Punjab Journalist Housing Foundation Board was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in which President National Press Club Anwar Raza along with Press Secretary Chief Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal, President Lahore Press Club Muhammad Azam Chaudhary, President Rawalpindi Press Club Cooperative Housing Society Rana Muhammad Tahir, Rana Muhammad Azim, MDP JHF Rao Parvez Akhtar and relevant officials also participated.
While approving additional plots for Press Club Housing Scheme, it was decided to give 121 kanals of land for media town phase two for journalists of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, while Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi announced Phase 2 of Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme, for which in Tehsil Cantt. Land will be given. In Ashiana Housing Scheme, 500 kanals will be allocated for Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme Phase 2.
In Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme Phase 2, 5.5 Marla plots will be given. In B Block of Lahore Press Club. The allotment of 15 plots was canceled illegally.
The Chief Minister of Punjab issued instructions to the police authorities to take possession of the illegal occupants in Coopers Club Housing Scheme B Block.
