Lahore: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has finalized the plan to engage the players during the break caused due to coronavirus pandemic, media reported on Monday.
PHF finalized the plan in a meeting which was chaired by the president Khalid Sajjad Khokar via video call. Secretary Asif Bajwa, Chief Selector Manzoor Junior, and Head Coach Khawaja Junaid also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, it is decided to form a Whatsapp group of officials, coaches, selectors, and players. Work will start on the group from tomorrow where players’ performances will be monitored by the coaches.
Players will create videos of exercise, food and hockey skills on the group. After watching the videos, the coaches and others will guide the players. It must be noted that all the sporting activities around Pakistan have been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
