Piyaas Int’l launches Nayi Rah for underprivileged

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Piyaas International Human Rights, Rana Imran Latif, on Monday announced the launch of a special initiative titled “Nayi Rah” (New Path) aimed at the development, education, and welfare of the underprivileged regions of Balochistan.
The core objective of this initiative is to provide dignified opportunities for the local population, harness indigenous potential, and lay the foundation for sustainable development.
Rana Imran Latif stated: “Many areas of Balochistan still lag behind in essential sectors such as basic education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and women’s participation.
The ‘Nayi Rah’ initiative is designed to open pathways for meaningful and lasting change in these communities.”
The key components of the “Nayi Rah” program included provision of free basic and vocational education for children and youth, training of skilled women and artisans along with support in marketing their products.
Moreover it aimed to supply modern agricultural machinery and technical training for local farmers,provide guidance and resources to youth to start small businesses and self-employment ventures.
The new initiative also wanted to enable women’s economic participation through practical assistance and entrepreneurship support.
Imran Latif further said that the programme was being developed in close consultation with local communities, educational institutions, and development partners, with a strong focus on ground realities and community needs. He expressed the hope that federal and provincial governments, local administrations, and civil society organizations will actively cooperate in this mission.
