PM to convene APC amid surge in terrorists attacks

QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced convening All Parties Conference (APC) to discuss the law and order situation amid rising incidents of terrorism in the country. He expressed these views while chairing a high-level meeting in Quetta on Thursday.
“We’ll invite the entire political leadership and armed forces of the country to develop a consensus,” said the prime minister.
He added that the elimination of terrorism is necessary for country’s development.
The prime minister said that he is ready to provide maximum resources to armed forces to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
Shehbaz Sharif also appreciated security forces for saving lives of passengers after terrorist attack on Jaffar Express in Balochistan.
He said that security forces adopted a successful strategy to counter the terrorists.
He said that terrorists made over 400 innocent passengers of Jaffar Express as hostages.
The prime minister appreciated the Zarar Company of Pak Army that was established to counter such kind of heinous terrorist incidents.
He said that the country cannot move forward towards path of progress without development of Bal-ochistan.
He was of the view that all the federating units will have to play their due role for peace in the country. –Agencies
