LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday issued white paper on performance of Punjab government claiming that Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI)-led government failed to deliver in the province. White paper issues by PML-N’s Punjab general secretary Awais Leghari and spokesperson Uzma Bukhari claimed that in 2019 government failed to control inflation, unemployment and poverty. White paper further stated that government expenses increased by more than 200% without any increase in sources of revenue. Prices of everyday use products also increased by more than 200% with no increase in minimum wage for poor. According to white paper, provision of free medicines and test in government hospital was also stopped. Price of sugar increased from Rs45 to Rs80. Government deprived poor of quality education with curtailing its poor performance in education sector.
