ISLAMABAD: Spokeswoman of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has expressed concerns about the lack of enough facilities for the coronavirus patients in the government hospitals of Islamabad. Maryam Aurangzaib said that the number of patients in Islamabad has reached 2400 and only 12 ventilators are operational.
She claimed that there are no arrangments for the coronavirus patients in Islamabad except 90-bed isolation wards at the Poly Clinic and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). The PML-N leader also said that families of the coronavirus patients are bound to use their influence to get ventilators.
Former state minister for information Maryam criticising Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he was fighting the coronavirus through press conferences, presentations, computer-generated statements and claims while the federal minister for health and the prime minister is missing and health system of the country is running on the contract.
She alleged the government of playing with the people’s lives by telling repeated lies and instead of taking measures and arrangements for the coronavirus it staking the lives of people in danger.
