ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has expressed appreciation to the Embassy of Romania in Pakistan on the successful completion of one year of a joint opera singing programme, describing the initiative as a new dimension in Pakistan’s artistic landscape and a strengthening of cultural ties between the two countries.
PNCA extended special thanks to Romania’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Dan Stoenescu, for his continued encouragement and support in promoting meaningful cultural engagement between the two nations.
Over the past year, the programme has provided a platform for emerging musicians to explore the rich tradition of opera.

PNCA credited vocal instructor Georgiana Costea-Gluga for her dedication and expertise in nurturing talent and ensuring the programme’s success.
The Council also acknowledged the efforts of Administrative Officer Mr. Ghulam Muhammad for his effective coordination and management of the classes throughout the year.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General PNCA Muhammad Ayoub Jamali reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to promoting artistic excellence and fostering international cultural collaboration.
PNCA said it looks forward to continuing the partnership with the Romanian Embassy and further strengthening people-to-people and cultural connections in the years ahead.
